This is a really unusual and unique piece. Crafted from 15ct Gold (not marked by tested) this circular pendant/locket features three fiery opals surrounding a central almandine garnet.

The locket is made so special by the wonderful and ornate engravings surrounding the gems.  The gems are all well set and in good condition.  One of the opals has what i think is an unusual white inclusion within it. There is nothing wrong with it, but it looks slightly different to the others. 

On the back of the pendant, and within a beautifully engraved border, is a glass panel which can be removed (and the hairwork removed) to put a picture or trinket of a loved one.

This is a really super locket, which looks fabulous hanging from a chain around the neck. It measures 1.6cm wide x 1.7cm long and it weighs 3.53g.
